Doubledown Charters, operating under Fisherman’s Guard LLC, is a fully licensed, veteran-owned and operated offshore fishing charter business based in Brunswick and St. Simons Island, Georgia. Owned by David S. Tucker, a U.S. Navy Retired Combat Photographer and Veteran with over 20 years of distinguished military service, Doubledown Charters is a proud service- disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) dedicated to providing premier offshore fishing experiences, supporting marine stewardship, and contributing to the economic vitality of Georgia’s coastal communities.

Captain Tucker's Credentials
With more than 30 Years of maritime experience aboard US Navy ships, Military Aircraft, and Submarines, David earned his Coast Guard issued 25-ton Captain’s license in 2021. All of his life experiences have given him the professional skills and knowledge to ensure safety while operating his charters and general maritime operations for both large and small craft, all while showing his clients a great time on the water.
